The orifice flowmeter is mainly composed of primary detection components and secondary equipment. It is simple and convenient to maintain, simple in structure, high in stability, easy to use, and high in accuracy. Orifice flowmeter throttling valve device and differential pressure transmitter can be used to measure the flow of liquid, steam and gas. Orifice flowmeter is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power, light industry and other sectors. In the application process, the repeatability of the orifice plate flowmeter is particularly important. In the actual use process, the following aspects should be paid attention to:

1. The entrance right angle sharpness and pipe diameter do not meet the calculation.

2. Product thickness error; step and eccentricity of throttle attachment

3. The flatness of the upper end of the orifice flowmeter; the size of the annular chamber produces steps and eccentricity.

4. Selection of pressure position; whether the welding joint is prominent

5. Whether the pressure hole is standard and whether it is blocked.

All these problems will affect the repeatability of the orifice plate, and the repeatability of the orifice plate depends on the principle and manufacturing quality of the instrument itself, and is an important indicator in process control applications. Accuracy depends not only on repeatability, but also on the calibration system. In practical applications, the good repeatability of the instrument is interfered by many factors such as fluid viscosity and density, which affect the measurement accuracy. If the output characteristic of the instrument is non-linear, the influence is even greater. Therefore, preventive measures must be taken in the selection and application of orifice flow timing.
