Safety technical guidance for use of level gauge

The instrument can be used for medium level detection of various towers, tanks, tanks, spherical vessels, boilers and other equipment.
(1) After the liquid level gauge is installed and calibrated, red lines with the highest and lowest liquid levels shall be drawn on the dial with red paint At the same time, the operator shall conduct patrol inspection frequently to keep the liquid level gauge clean and prevent leakage. Especially in winter, prevent positive liquid level from freezing and blocking and false liquid level. The float level gauge or perry tube shall be regularly scrubbed or flushed. When discharging toxic, hazardous, flammable and explosive media in the liquid level gauge, outlet pipe shall be used to discharge the media to a safe place and properly handle it
(2) Large containers or containers storing media with higher hazard shall be equipped with centralized control facilities and alarm devices, and the highest and lowest safe liquid levels on the magnetic flap level gauge shall be clearly marked. In addition to the direct reading type, the liquid level gauge shall also be equipped with remote control, remote control, telemetry and automatic liquid level measuring devices capable of digital transmission. For example, the float type liquid level gauge with wire harness or steel strip shall be used to measure the most accurate liquid level. The ultrasonic liquid level meter is used, which is easy to operate, fast and accurate, and the error is not more than ± 5mm. In addition, other vessels are equipped with liquid level alarms, which can automatically alarm when the liquid level reaches or exceeds the warning line, enabling operators to take measures quickly to prevent accidents
(3) The liquid level gauge shall be simple in structure, safe and reliable, with accurate measurement data, high precision magnetic flap liquid level gauge, obvious liquid level indication and convenient operation and maintenance.
(4) For containers containing liquefied gas with flammable, explosive, highly toxic or toxic media, glass plate level gauge or automatic level indicator shall be used; For large containers containing other media, safe and reliable liquid level indicators should also be installed. The liquid level gauge or liquid level indicator shall be equipped with a packing 2 and a protective leather to prevent the liquid level gauge from leaking. The electrical apparatus used for the liquid petroleum level meter shall comply with the safety regulations, meet the explosion-proof and flameproof requirements, and be safe and reliable
(5) The liquid level gauge shall be installed in a position convenient for observation. If the installation position of the liquid level gauge is not convenient for observation, other auxiliary facilities shall be added, such as explosion-proof and lighting devices. In general, when the liquid level of the float level gauge is higher than 2m from the operating floor or the man shaped container adopts a multi section connection level gauge, in order to facilitate observation and operation, the operating platform or work ladder shall be installed at the specified position. In case of leakage of the level gauge, the valves at both ends of the gauge must be closed first, and the residual medium in the pipe or plate must be drained before maintenance
