Vortex flow meters are mainly used for measuring the flow rate of medium fluids in industrial pipelines, such as gases, liquids, vapors, and other media. Its characteristics are small pressure loss, large range, high accuracy, and almost unaffected by parameters such as fluid density, pressure, temperature, and viscosity when measuring the volumetric flow rate under working conditions. No movable mechanical parts, therefore high reliability and low maintenance. The instrument parameters can be stable for a long time. The vortex flowmeter adopts a piezoelectric stress sensor with high reliability and can operate within the operating temperature range of -20 ℃ to+250 ℃. There are analog standard signals and digital pulse signal outputs, which are easy to use in conjunction with digital systems such as computers. It is a relatively advanced and ideal measuring instrument.

Working Principle
By setting up a triangular cylindrical vortex generator in the fluid, regular vortices are alternately generated from both sides of the vortex generator. This type of vortex is called a Carmen vortex, as shown in the right figure. The vortices are arranged asymmetrically downstream of the vortex generator.

The IP65 vortex flowmeter is a volume flowmeter that measures the volume flow rate, standard volume flow rate, or mass flow rate of gas, steam, or liquid based on the Karman vortex principle. And it can be applied as a flow transmitter in automation control systems.
This instrument adopts advanced differential technology, combined with measures such as isolation, shielding, and filtering, to overcome the problems of poor seismic resistance and small signal data disorder of similar products. It also adopts unique sensor packaging technology and protective measures to ensure the reliability of the product. The measurement principle of vortex flow meter is saturated steam flow measurement. In the 1980s, people generally used standard orifice flow meters. However, from the development status of flow instruments, although orifice flow meters have a long history and a wide range of applications; People have also conducted sufficient research on it and the experimental data is complete. However, there are still some shortcomings in using standard orifice flow meters to measure saturated steam flow rate: firstly, there is a significant pressure loss; Secondly, the pressure pipe, three groups, and connecting joints are prone to leakage; Thirdly, the range is small, usually 3 to 1, which can easily cause low measurement values due to large flow fluctuations. The vortex flowmeter has a simple structure, and the vortex transmitter is directly installed on the pipeline, overcoming the phenomenon of pipeline leakage. In addition, the pressure loss of the vortex flowmeter is small, the range is wide, and the measurement range ratio for saturated steam can reach 30 to 1. Therefore, with the maturity of vortex flowmeter measurement technology, the use of vortex flowmeter is increasingly favored by people.
