Analysis of Measuring Error of Intelligent Electromagnetic Flowmeter

As long as you understand the working principle of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter and some essential factors of installation, selection and maintenance, you can quickly analyze the cause of the error and deal with it when there is an error in the flowmeter.1. When the fluid is a solid-liquid two-phase flow, that is, it contains particles or fibers and other solids, the possible faults are:   ①, the measurement is the noise generated by the fluid;   ②, there are adhesions on the surface of the electrode inside the flowmeter, so that it is contaminated  ③, there are fluid deposits or insulation covering the lining of the instrument in the pipeline;   ④, the lining of the instrument is worn, so that the cross-sectional area of fluid circulation becomes smaller.2. When the fluid is not full or the sensor is installed incorrectly, malfunctions may occur. ①. When the fluid contains a small amount of gas in the pipeline and is distributed in stratified or wavy flow, it will cause the superposition of instrument errors, that is, the measured value does not match the actual value;   ②, when the fluid is bubble flow or plug flow, except for In addition to the fact that the measured value of the meter does not match the actual value, the measured value will slosh due to the bubble covering the electrode surface when passing through the electrode;   ③, if in a horizontal pipe, the cross-sectional area of the stratified flow increases, that is, the fluid is not full of the pipe. The increase of the status of the meter will cause the shaking of the measured value of the meter;3. Improper selection of the electrode material of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter may cause malfunctions. ①. When the electrode material of the electromagnetic flowmeter is improperly selected, in addition to being corroded after working for a period of time, the following situations will occur;   ②, the surface of the electrode should be chemically reacted to produce a passive film;   ③, the electrochemical reaction and polarization of the electrode The phenomenon leads to the generation of electric potential;   ④, the appearance of aerosol phenomenon on the electrode surface;    These chemical phenomena above will affect the accuracy of the smart electromagnetic flowmeter. Data deviation failure caused by low fluid conductivity.The lower limit of the conductivity of the fluid is affected by the working principle of the flowmeter. There is a specified value that is ≥5μs/cm. There are more fluids generally with low-degree distilled water or deionized water. These conductivity are generally close to the lower value of the specified value. Limit, the result is that the measured value fluctuates and is unstable.Summary: The above faults can generally be solved in the selection stage of the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter. For example, the above problems can be solved reasonably. For the conductivity of the fluid, please refer to the relevant manual first, and then select a reasonable flowmeter for measurement.
