Daily maintenance and common troubleshooting methods of ultrasonic level gauges

Ultrasonic level gauge is a digital level meter controlled by a microprocessor. In the measurement, the ultrasonic pulse is emitted by the sensor, and the sound wave is radiated by the liquid surface and then received by the sensor. It is converted into an electrical signal by a piezoelectric crystal or magnetostrictive device. The time between the transmission and reception of the sound wave is calculated from the sensor to the measured liquid. The distance from the surface. The ultrasonic level gauge adopts non-contact measurement, almost unlimited to the measured medium, and can be widely used for measuring the height of liquid and solid materials.Guidelines for daily maintenance of ultrasonic level gauges:1. The ultrasonic level gauge should be inspected from the appearance for damage during daily use and maintenance.2. Check whether it meets the technical requirements of the measuring point, such as process temperature, pressure, ambient temperature, measurement range, etc.3. Check whether the measured value is consistent with the actual value. Whether the installation site has protection measures for sunshade and rain.4. Check whether the position of the wiring terminal is correct, whether the cable sealing plug is tightened, and the housing cover is tightened. If there is auxiliary power supply, whether the display module has display.5. When ultrasonic is in use, the power supply must be consistent with the data on the nameplate, and the power supply should be cut off before wiring.Common faults of ultrasonic level gauges and their solutions1. There is no display on the screen and no sound from the probe: check whether the power supply is normal.2. Screen error message ERR01: Check whether the connection of the probe is normal.3. Screen error message ERR02: The ID of the probe and the transmitter are inconsistent. Set the ID to be consistent by pressing the button.4. The relay works abnormally: check whether the relay settings meet the requirements.5. The meter displays normal, but the output signal current is abnormal: check whether the wiring is correct, whether the current load impedance meets the requirements, and whether the central control room module is configured properly.6. There is no display on the panel but the probe makes a sound: check whether the LCD screen is connected properly.7. Invalid keyboard keys: check whether the keyboard connection is normal.8. The instrument and the host computer cannot communicate: check whether the wiring, ID, communication rate, and communication protocol are correct.9. The short-distance measurement of the meter is normal, but the remote measurement is abnormal: first check whether the installation is normal, and then check whether the parameter setting is reasonable.

10. Near-end deadlock of the instrument: check whether it is the true response of the working condition, and check whether the parameters are reasonable.
