Metal pipe flowmeter consists of measuring pipe, float,indicator and process connection components with the characteristics of small size,wide measuring range, easy installation. In the industry area, it is widely usedto measure flow of gas, liquid, and steam, especially suitable for mediums withlow current velocity and low flow rate.
VACORDA provide M1, M2, M3 three kinds of indicator forcustomer choice. M1 is mechanical indicator for local display; M2 is remotetype smart indicator and can used for Exia II CT5Ga application. M3 ismulti-function smart indicator and used for ExdII BT6Gb application.
1. M1 mechanical indicator
M1 is square shell structure and use float in the pipe tolet needles moving by magnetic steel moving, thus we can read the flow ratefrom division circle. So its characteristic is simple structure, none revise,reliable and no need power supply. Two kinds of mark for customer choice
2. M2 Smart indicator
(1) M2 is square shell structure, Exia II CT5Ga design and KVD type magnetic transmitter inside. This typeis mechanical needle displaying Instantaneous flow, 5 digit LCD displayingInstantaneous flow, 8 digit LCD display total flow, while output 4~20mA signal,upper limit and lower limit warning signal.
(2)WarningType
upper limit and lower limit warning ofM2 utilizes open-collector output mode, max current is 100mA 30DC, and internalresistance 100Ω. The alarm parameters can set flexibly and reliable throughpanel key. The M2 has power-failprotection function, logic function, which can set upper limit and lower limitwarning and connect with PLC by electric relay or safety barrier.
(3)Pulse Output Type
M2 can be pulse output with min space 50ms and every pulse stand for one unitInstantaneous flow. While it is zero warning set, this warning output functionconvert to be pulse output, thus customer can only choose on between warningoutput and pulse output. M2 indicator has more function of multi-parametersetting, figures back-up, and power-fail protection. In addition, if it is nottwo-line power supply, there is LCD backlight for choice.
(4)BatteryType
M2 indicator can be battery for power supply, no signal andwarning output. The battery is high power lithium battery with 3.6V, 7.5AH andcan last at least 3 years. There is electricity capacity display in LCD rightside, which can mention customer to change battery in time.
Battery is high work efficiency at temperature -10℃~+45℃and too high or too low temperature will affect its lifetime. So we suggestthat customers don’t use it under blazing sun, raining and no-wind place.
3. M3 Smart indicator
M3 is multi-function smart indicator, which involves thefunction of M1 and M2 and has needle display system. It has Exia II CT5Ga and Exd II BT6Gb function to replaceM1 and M2.
M3can be battery for power supply, no signal and warning output. The battery ishigh power lithium battery with 3.6V, 7.5AH and can last at least 3 years.There is electricity capacity display in LCD right side, which can mentioncustomer to change battery in time.
