Magnetic flap level gauge for liquid chlorine storage tank in liquid chlorine section

In chemical production, the liquid level display of liquid materials is very important, especially in the liquid chlorine section. Due to the frequent replacement of liquid chlorine metering tanks and the frequent filling of liquid chlorine packaging tanks, the indication of liquid chlorine level is even more important. Moreover, since liquid chlorine is a highly toxic substance, it must be strictly prevented from leaking, and the liquid level display device must be safe and reliable.Before 1994, our company used a frosted steel plate level gauge to display the liquid level in the production of liquid chlorine, and judged the display liquid level by the frosting position on the outer surface of the steel plate. The advantages of this level gauge are safety, reliability and convenient observation; the disadvantage is that the frost display is affected by the weather and climate, and the level display is not very accurate. After switching to the electronic scale level gauge, it has been unable to display the level correctly due to various factors, and the maintenance cost is very expensive (nearly 10,000 yuan/a). Therefore, there is an urgent need for a new type, safe, reliable, and reliable in the production of liquid chlorine. The liquid level display is accurate and eye-catching liquid level display.At the beginning of 1999, the Ministry of Chemical Industry recommended a magnetic flap level indicator to prevent leakage accidents from overfilled liquid chlorine storage tanks. The level gauge is simple in structure, eye-catching and convenient, but a branch pipe must be welded to the equipment body (liquid chlorine storage tank). In order to make the operation safe and convenient, our factory recommends the use of a new type of magnetic float level gauge.1  The structure of the magnetic float level gaugeThe magnetic float level gauge is composed of three parts: a non-magnetic riser, a magnetic float and a magnetic display sheet. Among them, the non-magnetic standpipe can be a stainless steel pipe or a titanium pipe, the length of which is slightly longer than the height of the liquid level that needs to be monitored. The magnetic float is composed of a float made of thin stainless steel plates, braces and strong magnets. The strong magnet is placed in the riser, and the verticality of the riser should be ensured during installation so that the float can float up and down freely in the riser. Ordinary iron sheet can be used for the magnetic display sheet.2  The working principle of the magnetic float level gaugeAs shown in Figure 1, the magnetic float in the riser floats up and down with the rise and fall of the liquid level of the material. While the float is floating up and down, the strong magnet transfers the magnetism to the outer magnetic display piece, so that the level of the material in the storage tank can be clearly and accurately displayed from the vertical rod next to it.Experiments have proved that as long as the welding quality of the two ends of the float is guaranteed, and the presence of microporous sand holes on the weld seam is eliminated, the magnetic float level gauge will be used in the production of liquid chlorine due to its safety, accuracy, intuitiveness, wide application range and low material cost. Play a bigger role.
