Precautions for installation of wedge flowmeter

Precautions for installation of wedge flowmeter:(1) The installation must ensure that the fluid flows directly and smoothly. Try to avoid installing the flowmeter near the regulating valve and half-open valve.(2 For newly installed or repaired pipelines, clean them before operation to wash away the rust, scale slag and sludge in the pipelines.(3) The installation site should choose a place with low vibration and impact, or take vibration reduction measures.(4) When the flow meter is installed, the inner diameter of the sealing gasket must be greater than the inner diameter of the pipe to prevent interference with the pipeline fluid.(5) Other installation positions are also possible when the correct exhaust port is provided.(6) It is recommended to use a three-valve group to facilitate the zero adjustment of the transmitter.(7) For ordinary wedge flowmeters, two-way detection is possible. The marked direction “→” when the product leaves the factory is the direction when the flowmeter is calibrated, so it is recommended to install in this direction. For the integrated wedge flow transmitter, the flow direction has been marked when the product leaves the factory. When installing, it must be noted that the high pressure side of the pressure tap is always on the side of the fluid flow;(8) For vertical installation, due to the slight static thermal effect, you must pay attention to the zero adjustment of the transmitter.(The hoisting method of 9 large-caliber wedge flow meters:The direction of the pressure port of the wedge flowmeter and the position of the differential pressure transmitter:The transmitter is installed horizontally, and can be installed above or below the high and low pressure taps according to the different properties of the measured fluid. The principle of installation is to ensure the free flow of liquid and to prevent gas from entering the pressure guiding circuit of the transmitter.(1) When measuring liquid, the flowmeter pipe must be filled with liquid. (2) When installed vertically, the liquid flow direction should be from bottom to top. (3) For liquid applications, it is recommended that the pressure port position be horizontal or inclined downward, and the transmitter is recommended to be installed at the level or lower than the flowmeter. Wedge-shaped flowmeter pressure tube laying: For the integrated flow transmitter, the pressure tube has been installed and connected when the product leaves the factory, and the user only needs to connect the differential piezoelectric signal to the integrator or system. For ordinary flow meters, the following aspects should be paid attention to when laying the pressure guiding tube: (1) It should be made of pressure-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials according to the properties and parameters of the fluid to be measured, and its inner diameter should not be less than 6mm, and the length should be within 16m. . (2) The pressure guiding tube should be laid vertically or obliquely. In order to avoid the distortion of the differential pressure signal, the positive and negative pressure guiding tube should be laid as close as possible. The pressure guiding tube in severe cold areas should be treated with antifreeze treatment. (3) For flange-type pressure ports, the same type and pressure level must be used.
