Research on Application of Non-destructive Testing Technology in Magnetic Column Liquid Level Gauge

Abstract: In the context of rapid social development, it has promoted the improvement of the level of science and technology in my country. Special equipment is an indispensable factor in modern industrial production and life, and its important role cannot be ignored. Scientific and reasonable testing is carried out with special equipment as the orientation, so that its quality can be effectively guaranteed, and subsequent production can be safe. The basic premise for proceeding. However, the special equipment itself still has a certain particularity, which also restricts the effective application of traditional detection technology. At this stage, non-destructive testing technology is a common and effective inspection measure in the process of magnetic turning column level gauges. This article mainly discusses the application of non-destructive testing technology in the magnetic turning column level gauge. From the standpoint of my country’s industrial development, special equipment plays a vital role, and non-destructive testing technology is a common measure when inspecting it. However, due to the obvious differences in the types of non-destructive testing technologies, this also leads to different application scenarios. When applied to practice, it can be found that many flaw detection technologies still have more or less deficiencies and defects. Based on this, in special In the process of testing equipment using non-destructive testing technology, it is necessary to always take refinement, miniaturization and automation as its main development direction and goals, so as to contribute an important force to my country’s industrial and economic prosperity.1 Analysis of the importance of non-destructive testing of special equipmentWith the gradual improvement of the technical level, both the professional technology development and the utilization effect are becoming more and more obvious. As far as the application process of special equipment is concerned, although it simplifies and facilitates the inspection of oil and gas storage and transportation equipment, as far as some corrosive and flammable gases are concerned, the high-sealing line is used in the pipeline and equipment to be transported. It can be seen everywhere, which also adds difficulty and interference to the equipment detection work [1]. The application of non-destructive testing technology to the process of magnetic turning column level gauge can effectively solve the above problems, so as to achieve accurate detection of equipment operation and its quality level on the basis of not damaging the equipment, and enable the transportation of dangerous gases. Leakage in the process has been effectively controlled. In addition, non-destructive testing technology is an important achievement in the enterprise’s advanced technology research and development process. It is also based on this modern technology. On the one hand, it creates a relatively safe working environment for operating staff. The promotion has played a catalytic role and is of great significance to the sustainable development of the enterprise itself.2 Advantage analysis of non-destructive testing technologyThe fundamental reason why non-destructive testing technology can be widely used lies in the outstanding advantages of this technology, which is different from other testing technologies. To sort out and summarize it, it mainly includes the following three aspects:2.1 Non-destructiveThe non-destructive nature of non-destructive testing technology, in simple terms, is defined by the equipment testing process. While ensuring the maximum safety and stability of its operation, it will not cause any damage or adverse effects on its performance.2.2 ComprehensivenessAs mentioned above, the equipment testing process will not affect the normal operation of the equipment. Therefore, the equipment can be comprehensively tested based on specific requirements and reference. On the one hand, this can make the detection result more accurate and its reference value has been fully improved, on the other hand, it is also an important measure to improve the detection efficiency.2.3 GlobalIn the past special equipment inspection process, the destructive inspection method is the most commonly used inspection method, and the object it faces is basically the equipment raw material. As far as the equipment is under normal operation, if it needs to continue to be used in the future, then in the process of testing it, destructive testing methods will not be used. Comparing non-destructive testing technology with destructive testing technology, it can be seen that it will not damage or adversely affect equipment performance. Therefore, this technology has strong applicability in raw material testing and in-use equipment testing, and the testing runs through In order to ensure the effective and normal operation of special equipment, the whole process from production to use of special equipment is ensured.3 Specific application of non-destructive testing technology in magnetic turning column level gauge3.1 Application of magnetic particle inspection technology in special equipment inspectionExamining the current application status of magnetic particle inspection technology, it can be found that it is widely used in the semi-finished and finished product stages of special equipment, mainly for the metal workpieces that have been magnetized, and the inspection work is implemented to check whether there are defects. Generally speaking, the magnetic field leakage phenomenon of metal workpieces affected by magnetization is usually generated under the background of defects such as cracks and inclusions. Under this background, the magnetic powder will be attracted to it in large quantities due to the effect of the magnetic field leakage. In the implementation of the inspection work, the specific distribution can be used as a basis and reference to achieve accurate and rapid search for magnetic particle defects on the workpiece. This method not only has the characteristics of convenience, but also its detection efficiency is relatively high. At the same time, the application of magnetic particle flaw detection technology to the work of the magnetic turning column level gauge is usually carried out with the help of colored magnetic powder, so that the defect location of the workpiece can be more clearly presented. In recent years, with the continuous progress of society and the rapid development of various technologies, this technology has also obtained development opportunities. As far as the current stage is concerned, its application is not only limited to the semi-finished and finished product stages of special equipment. It is also applicable to the detection of fatigue damage of some equipment that has been used for a certain period of time. However, it is worth mentioning that from an objective point of view, magnetic particle inspection technology is still in the development stage, so there will inevitably be areas that need to be improved and optimized.3.2 Application of radiographic testing technology in special equipment testingAs far as the field of non-destructive testing is concerned, radiographic testing is an indispensable and key part of this field. At this stage, X-ray, Y-ray, etc. radiographic inspections are more common in the industrial field, but X-ray radiographic inspections are the most widely used. The application of ray detection technology in special equipment testing is mainly based on the penetrating ray environment and the absorption degree of the tested object as the main reference basis, so as to realize the effective detection and judgment of its internal defects. It is understood that the application effect of radiographic detection technology will vary depending on the type of equipment. At present, the application of this technology to fusion welding has achieved obvious results, but its detection results in steel steel pipe welded joints and friction welded joints are not satisfactory, which is why it has not been vigorously promoted in this field. Therefore, in the implementation of the inspection process, the equipment inspection personnel must fully grasp the actual situation of the special equipment, and use this as a basis, so as to rationalize the selection and application of the radiographic inspection technology.3.3 Application of Eddy Current Testing Technology in Special Equipment TestingEddy current testing technology is an important technology type that constitutes non-destructive testing technology, and it is also the fastest growing technology. Based on the current application status of this technology, it is more common in the process of pressure vessel defect detection. For example, heat exchange equipment is used as the object to detect whether there are cracks on its surface or whether the detection equipment has been damaged. The application of this technology does not only rely on this technology to complete the inspection independently, but rely on the through-type probe as an aid to implement a comprehensive inspection process for the heat exchange tube. In other words, it is the process of detecting whether the heat exchange tube is corroded and whether there are defects such as wear and damage. An in-depth understanding of the equipment in the current eddy current testing technology shows that most of them are produced abroad. Although in recent years, my country has conducted corresponding research in this area and tried independent production, it is not enough to support the optimization and perfection of this technology. Therefore, the application scope of eddy current testing technology is still relatively narrow, and relevant technical departments of my country still need to increase their exploration and research efforts, so that my country can better compete with developed countries.3.4 Application of ultrasonic flaw detection technology in special equipment testingUltrasonic flaw detection technology is the most widely used technology among many non-destructive testing technologies. Ultrasonic flaw detection technology also has many advantages. For example, the flaw detector is lighter in weight, small in size, convenient to carry and easy to operate. At the same time, it will not cause harm to the human body during use. It is based on the above advantages that make it It is loved by the majority of technicians. From the standpoint of the application status of ultrasonic flaw detection technology, its applicability is strong and its applicable range is also relatively wide. On the one hand, it can be used in the process of detecting whether there are defects in the weld, on the other hand, it can also be applied Check whether there are cracks in the pressure vessel and high-pressure bolts. In terms of its physical properties, whether it is thickness detection, material hardness detection, liquid level flow detection, or residual stress and bonding strength, comprehensive detection can also be achieved. But what we need to focus on is that ultrasonic flaw detection technology is not suitable for some rough and irregularly shaped and complex workpieces.4 ConclusionIn summary, in the context of the continuous development of non-destructive technology for special equipment, its application range has gradually expanded, and it has been fully applied whether it is equipment production, installation, or use. In this context, not only the safe and normal use of equipment is ensured, and the timely excavation of potential faults is realized, but the probability of equipment failure is also effectively controlled, which promotes the improvement of enterprise production efficiency, and thus contributes to the social and economic development. Development contributes an important force.
