What are the requirements for the working environment of the magnetic flap level gauge

In industrial plants or bases, there will always be some places or production areas where there are some containers or storage tanks that need to measure the level of the medium inside, and some even need to control the level within a certain range, etc. These requirements are doomed Magnetic flap level gauges are common customers for these needs. Because it is not only easy and convenient to use, it also has a good performance in viewing and recording, and it is even perfect. However, everything that is perfect has disadvantages or imperfections, that is, the closer to perfect things, the more demands on the surrounding environment. We often say that the application of magnetic flap level gauges is very wide. It does not mean that there is no requirement for the environment. So what are the requirements for the working environment? First, the chemical nature of the medium, which is often referred to as the degree of corrosiveness. This is a very important environmental requirement. If the measuring medium is highly corrosive, the material of the contact medium selected when manufacturing the magnetic flap level gauge is to use a corrosion-resistant material. For example, 304 stainless steel is a common anti-corrosion material. , 316L is slightly higher, and there are PP anti-corrosion underneath, as well as stainless steel lining tetrafluoroethylene anti-corrosion and so on. Especially for some dangerous places, if the material of the magnetic flap level gauge does not meet the corrosive requirements of the on-site medium, it is easy to be corroded during use, causing liquid or gas corrosion, causing equipment damage, and serious explosion or Poisoning and other accidents that cause loss of personnel and property. Therefore, when purchasing a magnetic flap level gauge, the corrosiveness of the medium must be clarified.Second, high pressure. What I’m talking about here is the high pressure around the medium and the medium in the equipment, which is definitely not the high pressure of the environment, otherwise people will not be able to survive. Don’t underestimate this pressure. The pressure affects the thickness of the flange of the magnetic flap level gauge, the diameter of the float, and the thickness of the main steel pipe. For example, normal pressure below 1.6MPa and high pressure below 6.4MPA and the highest 10MPa will affect these data. Although there is no difference in appearance, there are differences in specific specifications. Otherwise, after being put into use, due to the adaptation pressure being lower than the actual working pressure, it will cause the level gauge to leak or even burst, and serious injuries will still result. Therefore, before the level gauge leaves the factory, we will conduct pressure test and leak test.Third, temperature. The temperature mentioned here refers to the temperature of the measuring object. For example, measuring the liquid level of a storage tank refers to the temperature inside the storage tank. We know that the working principle of the magnetic flap level gauge is useful for magnetism, and it relies on the key element of the float. The float is in contact with the medium. If the adaptable temperature of the float does not match the actual temperature, the magnetic properties of the float will be inconsistent. If it is stable or even loses its magnetism, it cannot be measured. Therefore, at the beginning of production, the high temperature resistant float should be made according to the temperature of the medium provided on site. The above three points are the requirements for the working environment of the magnetic flap level gauge. Of course, why should we mainly confirm these three requirements, because according to these three requirements, there will be different manufacturing costs and ensure normal use. However, if you want to make a magnetic flap level gauge, you also need to provide the measurement range, installation method, flange size, etc.
