At present, most of the users we are facing use vortex flowmeters to measure too much steam flow. Steam is dry humidityAnalysis: In the article “Whether moisture in steam affects the accuracy of vortex flowmeters”, we have introduced that steam should not contain too high moisture, and the dryness of steam should be below 85%.  Solution: When the steam humidity is higher than 85%, a humidity transmitter needs to be installed at 7D-8D at the outlet of the flowmeter.2. The pressure of saturated steam changes too muchAnalysis: The pressure changes in the industrial site are relatively normal, and the pressure changes directly lead to the density of saturated steam. When the value of the pressure change is higher than the calibration value, it will directly affect the level of the flow value;   Solution: because of saturation The density of steam has a one-to-one correspondence with pressure and temperature, so we can correct the density according to the change of pressure, which can be corrected by the section compensation method of the look-up table.3. Vibration of the instrument installation pipeline is largeAnalysis: The pipeline is not reinforced during installation. When the vibration is large, the flow rate will be higher.  Solution: Triangular reinforcement of the pipeline.4. Analysis of the outlet of the steam vortex flowmeter leading to the atmosphere: When the outlet of the flowmeter is opened to the atmosphere, the pressure difference between the front and rear will be too large, which will easily reach the upper limit of the flow rate of the flowmeter; Solution: The flow rate of saturated steam needs to be strictly controlled to make it Lower the flow rate limit of the flow meter, or install a rectifier on the side.5. The front and rear straight pipe sections of the steam vortex flowmeter are incorrectly installedAnalysis: When the straight pipe sections before and after the flowmeter do not meet the requirements, it can be concluded from the working principle of the vortex flowmeter that the necessary conditions for vortex formation cannot be achieved when the distance does not meet the requirements.  Solution: The distance between the front and rear straight pipe sections of the steam vortex flowmeter must be installed in strict accordance with the requirements.
