Debugging, use and maintenance of liquid level gauge

1. Debugging method
Place the magnetic steel at the zero position of the liquid level sensor, and at this time, the reed switch at the bottom of the sensor will be closed. Adjust the "zero position" potentiometer to make the output 4mA; Place the magnet at full range and adjust the "range" potentiometer to output 20mA. Repeat this a few times and the debugging will be completed.
2. Installation precautions
(1) During the installation of the liquid level gauge, no debris is allowed to enter the measuring tube.
(2) The liquid level gauge must be installed vertically on the side of the container. When installing the float into the measuring tube, the magnetic steel end should be facing upwards and should not be inverted.
3. Precautions for operation
When the liquid level gauge is put into operation, slowly open the upper valve first, and then slowly open the lower valve to allow the measured liquid to slowly enter the measuring tube, preventing the pressurized medium in the container from quickly rushing into the measuring tube, causing the float to rise rapidly and resulting in poor tracking of the indicator tube.
4. Maintenance of liquid level gauge
(1) If the measured medium contains impurities or sediment, the measuring tube and float should be cleaned regularly. When cleaning the float, appropriate cleaning agents should be used, and do not knock or burn it with open flames to prevent demagnetization of the magnetic steel.
(2) After long-term use, especially under high temperature conditions, if it is found that the indicator tracking is not flexible, the magnetic field strength of the float magnet should be checked first. If it has been demagnetized, the magnet or float should be replaced.
