Basic Chemical Industry
Chemical instrumentation is a crucial part of chemical engineering, used to monitor and control various physical and chemical parameters in industrial processes. These instruments include but are not limited to measuring equipment for temperature, pressure, flow, liquid level, and concentration, which can convert measured parameters into readable or processable signals for monitoring and controlling industrial processes. The classification of chemical instruments is based on their measurement principles and functions, including:
Temperature measuring instruments, such as temperature sensors, thermometers, and temperature regulators, are used to measure the temperature of objects.
Pressure measuring instruments, such as pressure sensors, pressure gauges, and pressure controllers, are used to measure the pressure of fluids.
Flow measuring instruments, such as flow sensors, flow meters, and flow controllers, are used to measure the flow rate of fluids.
Liquid level measuring instruments, such as level sensors, level gauges, and level controllers, are used to measure the height of liquid in containers.
Concentration measuring instruments, such as concentration sensors and concentration meters, are used to measure the concentration of solutes in a solution.
During the measurement process, the instrument collects signals through sensors and undergoes appropriate conversion and processing, ultimately converting them into readable or processable results
