Level and Control Instruments Used in Cement and Concrete Production
The use of level and control instruments is crucial in the cement and concrete production process. Here are some commonly used level and control instruments:
Level Instruments
1.Radar Level Meter Advantages: High accuracy, strong adaptability, capable of operating in harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and dust.Applications: Suitable for measuring liquids and solid materials in cement silos and raw material silos.
2.Ultrasonic Level Meter Advantages: Non-contact measurement, suitable for various media, easy to install and maintain. Applications: Suitable for measuring liquids and solid materials in storage tanks and silos, such as water and additives in cement and concrete.
3.Float Level Meter Advantages: Simple structure, low cost, easy to install and use. Applications: Suitable for measuring liquids in water tanks and storage tanks.
4.Capacitive Level Meter Advantages: Suitable for various media, fast response, resistant to high temperature and pressure. Applications: Suitable for measuring liquids and slurries in cement and concrete.
5.Guided Wave Radar Level Meter Advantages: Unaffected by changes in medium density, temperature, and pressure, high measurement accuracy.Applications: Suitable for measuring liquids, slurries, and powdered materials, such as water and chemical additives in storage tanks.
6.Hydrostatic Level Meter Advantages: Suitable for measuring the liquid level in sealed containers, strong anti-interference ability. Applications: Commonly used for measuring liquids in cement production processes, especially under high temperature and high-pressure conditions.
Control Instruments
1.Temperature Controller Applications: Used to control the temperature of rotary kilns, preheaters, and coolers, ensuring the production quality of cement clinker.
2.Pressure Transmitter Applications: Monitors and controls the pressure in various stages of cement production, such as mills, kilns, and pneumatic conveying systems.
3.Flow Meter Applications: Used to monitor and control the flow of liquids and gases in the cement production process, such as the flow of cement slurry, water, and additives.Types: Electromagnetic flow meters, turbine flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters.

Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology officially issued the "Notice on Issuing the List of Key Enterprises for Customized Production in Sichuan Province in 2025." After multiple rounds of rigorous selection, including voluntary application by enterprises, recommendation by municipal (prefecture) authorities, and expert review, Vacorda Instruments, with its strong customized production capabilities and high-quality product supply capacity, successfully entered the ranks of 106 key customized production enterprises in the province, becoming a representative enterprise in the instrument manufacturing field among the nine listed enterprises in Zigong City.
Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology officially announced the "List of Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Centers for 2025." Vacorda Instruments, with its solid R&D strength, outstanding innovative achievements, and comprehensive technical system in the instrument manufacturing field, successfully passed the full-process review and was selected for the 2025 Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center list.
