■ Overview
TCA-RS485 is used to convert the RS485 signal or RS232 signal or USB communication signal in safe areas into RS485 digital signal by means of isolation, and then transmit the signal to field instruments in hazardous areas. It can also provide isolated power supply for field instruments. This product needs independent power supply and 3-isolation for power supply, input and output.
Input signal in safe area: RS485 signal. RS232 signal. USB communication signal.
Output signal in hazardous area: RS485 signal.
Power distribution:
When voltage is 5 V, the current is ≤ 100 mA.
When voltage is 12 V, the current is ≤ 50 mA.
(Note: the product manufactured is defaulted to be without power distribution voltage. In case power distribution is required, please select power distribution voltage when ordering).
Signal transmission characteristic: for RS485 signal (or RS232 signal), the transmission rate is ≤ 56 kbps. The transmission delay is ≤10 uS.
The power supply range can be chosen from within range of 20~42VDC or 15~42VDC.

LED backlight design is used for the instrument panel of the communication Intrinsically safe isolator. There is no power light on the instrument panel. The power indicator is replaced by the basic model printed on the instrument panel. After the power is on, the model on the panel becomes illuminated by means of LED backlight perspective.
Clamping type structure, a 35 mm DIN standard guide rail clamping type installation is used. Screw terminal, the wire is connected and fastened by M3 screws.
