The Vacorda electric displacer level transmitter is a loop-powered displacer level transmitter for measuring and/or detecting liquid level or liquid-liquid interface under extreme process conditions. It can deal with corrosive media, high temperatures (up to +400°C / +752°F) and high pressures (up to 400 barg / 5801 psig).
The electric displacer level transmitter can be used as level indicator without the need of auxiliary power supply. Equipped with a switch module the unit can be used as level switch. With a transmitter module, the unit will function as level transmitter. The three function modes can be combined. Retrofitting the device for receiving add-on functionality is possible without interrupting the process. The Vacorda electric displacer level transmitter can also be installed in a bypass chamber, e.g. for applications with agitators.

Working Principle
HKD2000 series electric displacer level gauge is designed and manufactured based on the principle of buoyancy and Hook's law. The length of the displacer is equal to the measuring range. The measuring displacer is suspended on the measuring spring of the level gauge. When the measuring cylinder is immersed in the liquid to be measured, the cylinder is subject to the combined action of spring tension, buoyancy and gravity. A change in the level indicates a change in the level of the liquid. The displacement change is indicated by an indicator mounted on the outside of the body through a magnetic coupling method.
HKD2000 series electric displacer level meter adopts full metal structure, the indicator is completely isolated from the measured medium, which can be displayed on the spot, and it can also output 4-20mADC two-wire signal, switch signal output, HART protocol.

Scope of Application
HKD2000 electric float level gauge is widely used in the liquid level, interface and liquid level measurement and process control of petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power, food, pharmaceutical, paper and other industries.
Indicator function
The M2 indicator is a square indicator. When the buoy's up and down displacement is directly converted to the liquid level value through magnetic coupling, it is indicated by the pointer and dial.
Explosion-proof Indicator
The M3 indicator is a prototype indicator. When the buoy's up and down displacement is directly converted to the liquid level value through magnetic coupling, it is indicated by the pointer and the dial.
M3 indicator is suitable for explosion-proof places, explosion-proof grade is ExdⅡCT6Gb
M3 indicator is suitable for intrinsically safe places, explosion-proof grade is ExiallCT6Ga
